Retired navy lieutenant with twenty-two years of service,
Vietnam war veteran, and semi-retired from an additional twenty years of
IT consulting work. Currently divide time between working as an IT
consultant and performing as a musician.
Main professional focus is on IT service and IT operations management with an emphasis on ITIL v3 and v4. Specifically: workflow and process design, including implementation and continuous improvement strategies. Workflow, process design, and development include: value stream mapping, COBIT 2019 integration of governance and management objectives, service level targets and relevant performance metrics. Other skills and specialties include IT strategic planning, organizational change management, business continuity planning, supporting disaster recovery planning and testing, capital planning and investment control (CPIC), technology business management (TBM), and DevOps.
